The Drill Contingent is this regiment's
display unit and consists of three
platoons. The Rifle Drill platoon
consists of thirty-six guardsmen
doing 12 months of national service.
From May to September the
contingent gives a large number of
drill performances at various tattoos
world wide. H.M.K.G. Drill Contingent
claims to be one of the world's leading
 exponents of precision drill.
